Tracey Sobel, Dipl.O.M. L.Ac.
Tracey Sobel received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. She has taken all five of the national board exams (NCCAOM), giving her the title, Diplomat of Oriental Medicine. Before attending the Southwest Acupuncture College she went to the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies. Here she studied western herbalism and holistic nutrition. She has successfully integrated both forms of her formal training in to her practice.
Tracey has dedicated her life to exploring and utilizing natural healing modalities. She had her first mug of herbal tea as a very young child and instantly wanted to know more about herbs. As an adolescent she would search through any book she could find to learn more about the wonders of therapeutic plants. This was just the beginning of her life long study of natural medicine.
Tracey believes the body is akin to the environment, when the environment is in balance it runs smoothly… as does the human body. In nature, beings transform and adapt to the changes in their environment without harm. Our modern lives keep us from transforming in a healthy way, so illness pursues. With proper diet, exercise and balancing our bodies, the natural flow of life could exist, while our bodies remain in harmony. Tracey’s gentle approach to healing incorporates every aspect of a person’s life allowing the body to heal itself.
Tracey has focused her time working in many different aspects of natural medicine. She has specific training in sports injuries/ pain management, oncology, OB/GYN, and pediatrics. Her practice involves healing of the body, mind and spirit, incorporating acupuncture, nutrition, herbal medicine, and massage. She has also developed a technique that allows her to work with even the most sensitive of patients.
Tracey is the mother of two. She has kept them healthy by incorporating her natural healing practices into their daily lives. She enjoys spending time with her almost adult children and loves watching them grow and discover the wonders of life. She also spends her time hiking, practicing yoga, running, exploring our natural surroundings, and reading. I invite you to experience healing in a peaceful nurturing environment, experience true health!
